Yoga offers a welcome escape from the pace and pressures of everyday life. By combining mindful movement with focused breathing, it helps to calm the mind, improve posture, and build strength from within.

My classes are designed to support both body and wellbeing—helping you feel more balanced, flexible, and at ease. Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have prior experience, you’ll be guided in a way that feels accessible, supportive, and tailored to your needs.

I offer a range of both in-person and online classes, suitable for all levels and abilities, so you can find a practice that fits comfortably into your lifestyle.

Yoga for all levels (in person or online via zoom)

Monday evenings

Join a welcoming and inclusive yoga class suitable for both complete beginners and those with previous experience. This course gently guides you through the foundations of Hatha yoga and beyond, with a strong focus on spinal alignment to support healthy posture and ease tension held in the body.

Throughout the sessions, you’ll work on improving flexibility, increasing mobility, and building strength—particularly in the core muscles that support your back and overall stability. Regular practice can help reduce stiffness, relieve stress, improve balance, and enhance overall body awareness.

You’ll also learn practical breathing techniques (pranayama) designed to calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and support better focus and energy levels—tools you can take with you into everyday life.

All fitness levels and abilities are warmly welcomed. Each class is carefully adapted to suit individual needs, with options and variations offered so you can work at your own pace in a safe and supportive environment.

Mats can be provided initially, so you can get started without needing any equipment.

Each class finishes with a short meditation and a well-earned relaxation (savasana), leaving you feeling calm, restored, and rebalanced.

Yoga for Later Life

Thursday mornings

This friendly and supportive class is designed especially for those aged 50+ who want to stay active, improve flexibility, and enjoy the social benefits of moving together in a relaxed environment.

The sessions offer a gentle, low-impact workout that links simple stretches with the breath to support both body and mind. Regular practice can help improve mobility, increase joint flexibility, and reduce stiffness, making everyday movements easier and more comfortable.

You’ll also work on exercises to enhance stability and balance—key for maintaining confidence, preventing falls, and supporting long-term independence. Light strengthening movements help to build muscle tone, support the joints, and improve overall posture.

Many of the postures and movements can be performed using a chair, making the class accessible and comfortable for those who prefer or require additional support. This makes it ideal for beginners, as well as anyone managing injuries or health conditions.

As well as the physical benefits, the class provides a wonderful opportunity to relax, unwind, and connect with others. Each session ends with a short, blissful relaxation to leave you feeling calm, refreshed, and uplifted.

All abilities are warmly welcomed, and every exercise can be adapted to suit your individual needs.
