I am a yoga instructor and complementary therapist based in Lincoln, passionate about supporting your physical and mental wellbeing.
I discovered the life-changing benefits of yoga in 1976, and it has been an important part of my life ever since. Based in Canwick, I have been teaching in and around Lincoln for over 35 years, and I remain as passionate as ever about sharing yoga with others.
I love working with people from all walks of life, supporting them to find greater peace, strength, and balance—both physically and mentally. My approach is gentle, inclusive, and intuitive ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and supported, whatever their starting point.
I gained my teaching diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga and have continued to deepen my knowledge through training with respected national and international teachers across a variety of traditions including Somatic Yoga. This diverse background allows me to adapt my teaching to suit individual needs and abilities.
I have also completed specialist training in Yoga for Pregnancy and Yoga for Mum & Baby with Uma Dinsmore-Tully in London, enabling me to safely support women through these important stages of life.
My journey with yoga naturally led me to explore holistic health more deeply. I completed an HND in Complementary Therapies in 2000 and am qualified in Massage, Metamorphic Technique, and Ear Candling. I am also a practising Reiki and Seichem Teaching Master, offering treatments and attunements from my home in Canwick.
I am also a qualified flower essence practitioner, working with Bach Flower Remedies to support emotional wellbeing. These gentle, natural remedies can help to restore balance during times of stress, anxiety, or change, and complement my yoga and therapy work by supporting both the emotional and energetic aspects of health.
In addition, I have undertaken further training to support people living with cancer and those with dementia. I also offer chair-based yoga, making classes accessible for those who prefer or require a more supported practice.
Whether you are looking to improve flexibility, build strength, manage a health condition, or simply take time to relax and reconnect, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you can move at your own pace and feel the benefits of yoga in a way that suits you.
